Fashion Forward

Though it’s not quite time to shed this winter's outer layer of wool coats and knit scarves, designers across the world are preparing to debut their upcoming AW15 catalogues. As models flood the catwalks for Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin and the menswear circuit in Milan, celebrate the crossover of fashion and art with some of Sleek-Art’s favourite fashion photographers.

Maxime Ballesteros

Sleek-Art sweetheart Maxime Ballesteros has a taste for the naughty. Published on the pages of Tissue, 032c, Purple Fashion Magazine and, of course, Sleek Magazine itself, Ballesteros’ photographs showcase the high heels and shiny shoes of the fashion world alongside the people that bring them to life. A selection of Ballesteros' editioned work is available for immediate purchase through Sleek-Art.

Kate Bellm

London-bred but Berlin-based, Kate Bellm has a portfolio of dreamy photographs that are a sudden departure from the cloudy climates to which she is drawn. In 2014, Bellm took a break from shooting for Vogue UK, NYLON and a host of other high-profile fashion magazines in order to shoot a series of Polaroids available exclusively on Sleek-Art.

Kent Andreasen

Based in Cape Town, South Africa, Kent Andreasen is an emerging cinematographer and photographer with a clear visual identity. Capitalising on the ever-vibrant colours that surround him, Andreasen's work has caught the eye of international clientele and he has been commissioned by brands across the globe.

Frank Horvat

Frank Horvat is a legend in the fashion photography industry. Though his editorials have been gracing the pages of Vogue France and Harpers Bazaar since the 1950's, Horvat has remained at the forefront of new technology: in 2012, Horvat launched his own app.

Berlin Fashion Week runs from 19 January until 23 January 2015; Milan Men's  Week ends 20 January 2015. Celebrate fashion photography year-round with Sleek-Art's collection of photography.
